What our visitors have to say
Here at Spinney Avenue Church of England Primary School, we really value your feedback and opinions. So if you have something to say about our school, whether it's general thoughts about the school, something wonderful your child learned at school, or some way in which we could make the school better please do let us know.
Feedback can be made to email@example.com
This feedback is also really useful to Ofsted, the government schools inspector. Their regular reports on schools are based mainly on observing and interviewing teachers, governors and parents, but they are only around for a day or two, once every couple of years and you may not have ever spoken to them. Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about our school. It will ask for your opinion on various aspects of the school from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. Please take the time to register with Parent View as your views are important to us.

It was pleasure to attend and be present at the assembly, I thought the children were excellent and in good voice.
I was also very impressed with their work in support of "Send My Friend to School" campaign.
I look forward to visiting the school again in the future.

"Our girls' football team and I attended the Halton Girls' Football competition at OCA on Tuesday and we had the pleasure of meeting some of the girls from your school. It was so lovely to meet confident and polite pupils who are willing to interact with pupils and staff from other schools. Their sportsmanship was also excellent as they congratulated other teams on their performances. They were a real credit to your school and we look forward to meeting them again at future competitions!

"Hi there, my son came home yesterday and told us how much fun he had trying out the wheelchairs in the wheelchair rugby and tactics with Mr Beddis! I am very impressed and very Grateful to Spinney for arranging this and giving our Spinions an understanding of disabilities and differences others have, and highly commend you on teaching our kids about difference, acceptance and challenges!
Thanks Spinney, Well done "
"We would just like to say a big thank you to all the teachers and staff at Spinney for all the hard work you all do. It is not until you work at Spinney which I am proud to say I do that you understand more. We all have a moan now and again saying this or that is not right there is no school that is perfect. So we are taking this opportunity to say thanks to Spinney Avenue C/E for all the good you all do. The Shaw family x"
"I would like to thank Spinney Avenue for a wonderful teaching experience. I have found it an enjoyable and informative learning journey.
The staff provided a range of opportunities for me to develop as a teacher and supported my progression throughout the ten weeks, helping me to develop from a good teacher to an outstanding teacher.
I found it a pleasure to work alongside the staff, they have supported me throughout my ongoing development and have been an excellent team to work within. The year ones were a wonderful class to teach and I have thoroughly enjoyed challenging them.
I felt welcomed to complete my teaching practice at Spinney Avenue and I am proud to have taught at your school."
"Hi there Spinney! I would just like to send a little message to say how much fun we had at the christmas coffee morning! We raised lots of pennies for the kids football kits and have a grand total of £342 so far which is fab! After we had sold all of the handmade crafts, I started to make christmas decorations with the kids, all of which were superb! The children were exceptionally polite and well mannered and very well behaved. One young lady from year six, Lacey, even thanked me for my kindness and bought me a little mince pie to show her appreciation which brought a little tear to my eye!
All of the children were fab and Spinney should be very proud of them all! I'd like to thank everybody that has helped us raise money! "
"We would like to say a big well done to all the children in the Nativity they all did so well and thank you to all the staff and helpers."
"What a FANTASTIC day it has been on Penny Lane today. Year 3&4 children from Spinney Avenue Primary School came to Penny Lane to take part in their Beatles themed school project. Staff and children alike showed so much respect for the work we have done here and were delighted to be able to share in this wonderful and nostalgic place the Beatles called home. From music to Art to a magical mystery Tour around our community, guided by the wonderful Penny Lane Map.... just FAB!"
"I would just like to say a fantastic thank you to all the pupils and staff, at a great school, who made us feel so welcome. You have a great school. I and the team were so proud to be allowed to engage with all at your school.
May I say what great pupils you have - we had no less than 43 pupils thank us for our workshop, which is a record!
Once again, Thank You for allowing us into a brilliant school!
Paul McGovern. MBE
Well done Spinney!"
