Chair of Governors
|Sue is married and has four grown up children and a granddaughter. She was previously a Primary School Head teacher and has a degree in History, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and the National Professional Qualification in Headship. Throughout her teaching career Sue has worked in predominantly socio-economic deprived areas and have taught in every year group in the Primary Phase. She researched Early Years Provision and the barriers to phonic acquisition as the basis of the dissertation for her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. She has worked with Edge Hill and Liverpool Hope Universities carrying out research into the success of the Lesson Study Approach. |

|Linda is the vicar at St Michael with St Thomas. She leads worship at the school on a weekly basis and is also a parent of the school as 1 of her 3 children attend St Michael with St Thomas.|
|Jen Lowry- Johnson||Foundation||Jen is the Principal of Ormiston Chadwick Academy, this is our local secondary school and the one which most of our children attend.|
|Mrs Sarah McNamara|
Sarah is married with two children; her eldest child is currently in at St Michael with St Thomas CE Primary School, and her daughter will start in September 2020.
She is a Registered Midwife and Senior University Lecturer at LJMU and has a keen passion for health and science in primary education, believing it enhances a child's knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes about health (physical and mental) that stay with them throughout their life.

Alan is married with 3 children and a granddaughter.
He studied at Liverpool John Moores University and has a Degree in Quantity Surveying and a Master's Degree in Marketing. He currently works in product management for a telecommunications company, having held a variety of roles including propositions management, service management, complaints management, customer service, and sales. His current role involves working closely with various areas of the company (technology, legal and regulatory, marketing and sales) working together to drive and ensure success.
|Bev is the staff elected governor and is also the Assistant Headteacher at the school with responsibility for EYFS & KS1 at post she has held since April 2017|
|Michelle has been the Headteacher at St Michael with St Thomas since September 2018.|
|Barbara Snowling||Foundation ||Barbara is 59 years old and has lived in Widnes all her life. She has been married 40 years and has two children and three grandchildren. She works for Vinci Plc which is a division of Vinci Construction UK Ltd and|
has worked for the company 31 years.
She is a member of the congregation at St Michael with St Thomas church.
|Marilyn Higginson||Foundation ||Marilyn lives in Widnes and has two children who both attended St Michael with St Thomas Primary School, known then as Ditton C of E School. Marily is retired and has various interests such as reading, Gardening & Baking and has been a member of a ladies crown green bowling team for 33 years. Marilyn has also been an active member of St Michael & St Thomas Church since 1953 and currently serves on the PCC as well as being a sides person. |
